My StoryWhen my twin sister had her first baby, I expected it to drastically change her life. To my surprise, my world completely shifted too. Meeting my niece deeply impacted me, and one day I felt a deep knowing that I was going to be a doula. The unconditional love and profound connection I felt with my niece catalyzed a passion in me for caring for new babies and their families.
I have since become a Certified Labor and Postpartum Doula through Cornerstone Doula Trainings. In my doula practice, I bring my compassionate heart and my awe for little ones to support your family in this transitional time. My warm, calm presence often puts others at ease, and my strong sense of intuition allows me to attune and respond to my client’s needs. Before entering the doula world, I spent several years in agencies working with LGBT elders and people experiencing homelessness. My work as a social service provider shines through in my doula practice as I provide grounding emotional support during this intimate and tender time. I welcome clients of all gender identities into my practice and celebrate the beauty of queer family. I have experience working with twins and love supporting families of multiples. When not working, I enjoy strolling in the forest, reading novels, and swimming. |
